Businesses looking to invest in the SOA software market should realise that the emerging technology can not only enable IT to be more productive but also make businesses more flexible all around, researchers have said.

Matt Dunstan, Microsoft application platform group manager, said that companies needed to "shift from an IT driven strategy to a business driven strategy" by incorporating with SOA architecture with BPM functions on top.
Mr Dunstan said he believed that companies are not advancing with the technology enough because of the platforms' perceived complexity and the requirement for standards and governance processes.
Testing of these critical infrastructures is also an essential tool in keeping up to date and ensuring that information is reliable, according to a whitepaper by Parasoft UK published online by ComputerWeekly.com 数据挖掘研究院
Down time of an hour in customer service components or authorisations could potentially cost companies money as well as the perceived lack of quality and reliability of the company in general, the report stated.
