PhD Scholarship in Data Mining and Machine Learning

Applications are invited for a three-year full-time PhD scholarship in data mining and machine learning to start in Year 2007. The scholarship offers a fund equivalent to the Australian Postgraduate Award (approx. AU$19,616.00 per year).
Applicants for the PhD scholarship should:
1. have an undergraduate (honors) or master degree in computer science;
2. be interested in data mining and machine learning research;
3. possess very good programming skills in Java, C/C++, etc. 数据挖掘研究院
The successful applicant will join the data mining and machine learning research group at the renowned Monash University, Australia. The group has been very active in producing high-quality research and publications.
